LSLI installs,
configures and supports the firewalls(s) that also include intrusion
detection and prevention. The firewall also blocks SPAM and executable
file attachments that can carry viruses. Anti-virus and URL content
filtering can be added to the services.

LSLI provides
two levels of Vulnerability and Threat Management services.
Quarterly
Threat Analysis Service
performs the following functions on a quarterly basis. Scans
the entire network and identifies and prioritizes all security
vulnerabilities. A complete report is sent to the client.
Continuous
Threat Analysis Service
continuously assesses the network, identifies new hosts as they
come online, automatically asseses their security posture along
with all previously identified hosts.
LSLI's MSS
provides the highest level of security possible using technology
that has successfully withstood all Internet attacks for a period
of more than 9 years. No vulnerabilities have ever been reported
by CERT, BugTraq, SANS or the FBI's NIPC; a record unequaled by
any other vendor. The PORTUS Application Protection System is
an appliance that integrates the functions of a firewall, application
level defenses, content filter, web cache, workload balancer and
report generator. Solutions
are available to meet the requirements of small, medium, large
and ultra-large organizations requiring multi-gigabit per second
throughput.
The
software and hardware can be upgraded to support larger workloads
as required. Both vertical and horizontal upgrades are available.
PORTUS provides application level defenses that block more than
1000 application level attacks that pass undetected through the
best of the Stateful Packet Filters. High
Availability is integrated into PORTUS using fault tolerant hardware
and software technology. This provides customers with a highly reliable
product that detects, isolates and recovers from hardware and software
errors on the fly.
Our
MSS provides more than 60 customizable reports that can be produced
on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Clients receive immediate
notification of any vulnerabilities uncovered. LSLI
performs a complete test and audit of system immediately after
installation and configuration.
The LSLI
MSS solution uses fault tolerant hardware and software to provide
high availability services suitable for mission critical applications.
The hardware
is configured with redundant components that reduce single points
of failure that can cause a service disruption. This includes
redundant hot-swap power supplies, redundant hot-swap disk drives.
Some SMP models also support Dynamic CPU Deallocation which
prevents CPU errors from disrupting transactions.
The software
provides non-disruptive hardware & software upgrades. Hot
plug PCI slots allow card replacement or upgrades without disrupting
the system. Additional disk drives can be added and configured
while the system is running. Software upgrades and configuration
changes can be applied without disrupting operations.
High Availability
(99.999%) configurations are available that offer complete redundancy
with automated recovery from hardware and software failures.
Automated
log archival, and disk space management eliminate system disruptions
caused by disk space shortages. Automated alerts are issued
when storage thresholds are exceeded permitting human intervention
to avoid service outages. Automated
warning are issued when hardware and software of error thresholds
exceed acceptable thresholds. This allows for scheduling of
preventative maintenance prior to hard failures.
LSLI
takes full responsibility for correct installation, configuration
and interoperability of the hardware and software solutions.
LSLI provides
and installs all software updates. LSLI
provides off site functional and security testing of the solution.
LSLI provides
off-site backups of the software configurations. LSLI
contracts for on-site repair of all hardware. Several levels of
hardware support are available ranging from 9x5 M-f to 24x7.
